Get to Know Dr. Rachel Snook

Dr. Snook looks forward to coming to work each day because she knows that she’ll get to work with people and improve their smiles. She loves helping patients feel more comfortable, confident, and in control of their oral health and appearance. She’s thrilled to work alongside the excellent team here at Grateful Dentists, and you can learn more about her background below.

Why Did You Want to
Become a Dentist?

“As the daughter of two dermatologists, I was exposed to the medical field early on. I admired the basis in science, problem-solving skills, and the objective of helping people. I was drawn to dentistry in particular because it allows me to work with my hands in a precise and often artistic way.”

Where Did You Study
Dentistry?

Dr. Snook completed her undergraduate education at Tufts University and went on to earn her dental degree from Columbia University. She then returned to Tufts for an Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency. She still pursues continuing education to grow her skills and expand her knowledge, and she is a member of the American Dental Association as well as the Massachusetts Dental Society.

Outside of
the Dental
Office, What
Do You Like
to Do?

In her spare time, Dr. Snook can usually be found running, crafting, baking, and exploring New England’s great outdoors. Music is also a big part of her life—she played and taught flute and is a self-taught ukulele player. Currently, she is trying to learn guitar!
